Thermal paper 

Thermal paper is also know as thermal Fax paper , heat sensitive recording paper , thermal printing paper , it was called heat sensitive copy paper . It is a processing paper , its manufacture principle is coating a layer of thermal coating on the high quality base paper . It has chemicals used on the layer , but the most base chemicals are Leuco dye , it has variety breed , the most commonly used are fluorescent compounds .
  
Thermal paper after heated , Leuco dye and developing color agent  react chemically print color , so when youusing thermal paper fax machine receive signals printed image .
 
 
Tips of choose and buy
Thermal paper is specially used for thermal printers and thermal fax paper .Its quality directly affect the printer's quality and save time, and even affect the service life of the printers and fax machines .
 
Thermal paper generally sales in the form of a roll ,general 80mm * 60mm ,57mm*50mm specification are mostcommon .the No. In front is width  , behind is diameter , the width of the average error is 1-2 mm. But if the diameter is 60mm,but actually just 58mm,the roll of length maybe reduce 1 meter(how much less depends on the paper's thickness) .when you chose to buy you should pay attention to these notice . 
 
Quality identification
1 apperance: if the paper is very white ,its state that the protective coating and thermal sensitive coating are not reasonable ,add too much phosphors. A good paper should be slightly green,Paper smoothness is not high or doesn't look uniform,becauce Paper coating is uneven.If the paper looks reflected light very strong, that is added too much phosphors, the quality is not very good .
 
2  Cofiring :Use the method of fire also very simple,Heat on the back of the paper,If heated, the color of the paper is brown,that shows the  thermal formula is not reasonable, the saving time may be short, if the paper is black with thin stripes or uneven color piece, Explaining the coating is uneven 
 
Good quanlity paper should be dark green (with a little green) with  uniform color piece and the color become weak gradually from center to around after heated .
Above is the most commonly used identification method.
 
Due to thermal paper contains a lot of chemical composition, therefore  should avoid long-term contact, wash your hands after contact !
